This piece has special significance for me. This beautiful creature was visiting us daily and sometimes more than once a day over the summer of 2024. Her fur was matted and filled with burrs. We tried to brush her, feed her and made her an outdoor bed to use. We considered taking her in, but our 2 other cats may not have agreed to that arrangement.
We later found out she had an owner, but the owner allowed her to roam. Later, the owner came to our door and requested we stop feeding her, so the cat would go home at night. At first, we were taken aback, but then agreed. Now she is apparently being kept at home, as we never see her anymore. We miss her but it's for the best that she's taken care of in the right way. Her name was Cleo.
